The Association of Expert Shoppers has announced this afternoon that one of it's founder members, bluey-grey, 26, has officially broken. During a lunchtime trip to the shopping precinct in Victoria Station, bluey-grey was said to have found several items she liked in Next, but made no (zero) purchases.
The announcement follows speculation following a sighting of bluey-grey in the streets of the Bristol shops on Saturday, with no shopping bags.
The breaking of shoppers is a rare occurrence, with shoppers usually sustaining their habit throughout their lifetime. Broken shoppers are often heard to say they like things in shops, but don't actually make a purchase due to what they call "sensible reasons". There are rumours that bluey-grey was suffering from shoppers guilt (TM) and credit card pressure before she broke this afternoon.
